YOU COULDN’T IGNORE ME IF YOU TRIED by Susannah Gora

I just finished Between Here and April, by Deborah Copaken Kogan, but I am going to wait to post my review until February 1, the date of the next EDIWTB online book club. So check back here on the 1st for my review if this book interests you.

Meanwhile…

Gora As a diehard 80s fan… I am very excited to learn of this book: You Couldn't Ignore Me If you Tried: The Brat Pack, John Hughes, and Their Impact on a Generation, by Susannah Gora. It comes out on February 9th.  I can't find any reviews of this online yet – I guess it's too soon. I am going to try to get my hands on a review copy, if I can – I am very excited to read it, especially the interviews with the actors who played those seminal roles.

Next book is either going to be The Help or Baker Towers, by Jennifer Haigh. I am leaning toward Baker Towers, but plan to read them both in the next month.
