My last giveaway of the week is a book that I have two copies of (an ARC and a review copy): Going Away Shoes, by Jill McCorkle. This is a collection of short stories by an author I have always wanted to read. Boston Bibliophile calls it "an elegant and moving collection of short stories… [that] all focus on women in middle age, trapped or stuck in some kind of relationship- with a dying mother or ex-lover, a misbehaving granddaughter or even an ex-therapist who still has an emotional hold over his patient."
